MITZVAH

"One Mitzvah leads to another…"
Pirke Avot 4:2

Temple Etz Rimon believes that we have an obligation to provide a community for our members and also to reach out into the world through individual and communal acts of gemilut chasadim (loving kindness), tzedakah (righteous giving) and tikkun olam (repairing the world).

Caring Committee
Our Caring Committee is there to support our members in good times and bad. Members can contact the committee with news of celebrations, illness, or deaths in the family and we will organize assistance as requested. Contact the committee at caring@templeetzrimon.org.

Mitzvah Committee
The Mitzvah Committee helps to channel these intentions into concrete programs that have included collecting Books for Israel, providing needed items for homeless shelters, and supporting the college education of an underprivileged Israeli soldier. Contact the committee at mitzvah@templeetzrimon.org.

Mitzvah Projects
Throughout the year Temple Etz Rimon creates events that include the annual Interfaith Shelter Project, ‘Adopt a Family’ through Jewish Family Services, and various local charities and drives.   For more information Contact Us.
